​Industrial Makeover

Carolina and Cesar Chavez of CSquaredDesign + Build made the guest bathroom a focal point of design for their extensive remodel of a previously traditional home in Eagle Rock, California. Nestled underneath a brilliant, industrial staircase, the bathroom elevates the masculine, modern feel the Chavezs’ clients wanted, thanks to Coastal’s Gridscape® 2 shower door. The Chavezs experimented with different textures, adding white stone walls, copper fixtures and a wooden vanity that offer warmth, balancing the bathroom’s darker features, like the bold hexagonal floor tiles and the linear style of the Gridscape® 2.

We always try to select products that set our designs apart from the rest of the market, which can sometimes be difficult because it is saturated with the same old thing. When we stumbled upon Coastal, we immediately knew we had to use their doors, and it turned out to be a perfect fit for this project. We have had nothing but positive feedback from our clients and anyone who has seen the finished product. The door is the showstopper.
