William & Edward is a design firm that believes the bones of old structures speak for themselves and deserve to be brought back to life through thoughtful restoration and innovation. Their designer, Barry Jordan, embodied this mission when he took on restoring an upstate New York farmhouse that dated back to 1830. Jordan kept true to this home’s roots by representing the past tenants’ honest, hardworking attitude where everything serves a purpose, like the original oak beams highlighted in the design. Barry chose the Gridscape® shower door with a black metal grid pattern that accentuates the bathroom’s authenticity, complementing the natural wood and white subway tile. The Gridscape door’s industrial style is further balanced by Jordan’s choice of aged brass hardware, taking it back to its 19^th-century origin.
