Rustic Meets Modern
This rustic modern design by Kara Gordon, owner of Sleek to Chic Interiors, is featured in a completely remodeled 1984 home in Bedford, TX. The use of mixed elements—a wood vanity and mirror, white brick and marble tile—complements the sleek Gridscape® 1 shower door.
“The Gridscape door was the one element we couldn’t live without in this design. We compromised on some things, such as a quartz rather than concrete for countertops, and a drop in sink in place of an undermount. But no way would we fudge on the shower enclosure. It makes the whole room!”

The Show Stopper
When design enthusiast Nicole Swiggett redesigned her entire Atlanta home, she wanted it to be unique, and for the bath space to be anything but boring. The design was centered around the Gridscape® 1 as the “Pièce de Résistance,” and finalized with classic Carrara marble. Brought to life by Fitzgerald Construction, this lovely bath is Nicole’s favorite room in the house.
The design and build company, Schmauder Group, designed this bath in a small, all brick, 1940’s row house in Alexandria, Virginia. Drawing inspiration from all black and white bathrooms featuring patterned tile and white subway tile, this eclectic industrial style reflects the rich history and location of the home. The Gridscape® 1 fixed panel brings an edgy, industrial vibe, complemented by the detailed flooring and custom vanity.

This boutique ensuite master bath is featured in a 1920’s bungalow in Tampa, FL. Rebecca Schleifer, eclectic designer and owner of Cardinal Designs, envisioned this striking classic bath with statement large hexagon slate blue floor tile, a 100-pound oyster chandelier, and the Gridscape® 1 true divided light swinging shower door accented by scalloped fishscale tiles to finalize this masterpiece.
This Steampunk master bath is just one of the many show-stopping remodel projects in this 100-year-old house in Missoula, Montana. Thanks to Pearce’s thoughtful attention to detail, there is now a sense of masculinity, whimsy, and old-world feel in this stunning Montclair, New Jersey bathroom renovation.
“I was looking for a way to add some masculine weight to this master bath. Coastal’s Gridscape series provided the perfect balance of contemporary with a wink to the past. The process was seamless from concept through final design and my client is so happy with the result.”
What Bathroom Dreams Are Made Of
Interior designer Sita Montgomery’s fearless embrace of patterns and textures is on full display at the Stone Creek Remodel Project. Here, the Gridscape® 1 true divided-light swing door offers a bold contrast to the intricately patterened tile floor.
“The shower doors completely steal the show in this bathroom! The doors are steel with individually paned glass panels. The custom doors were definitely an investment, but in my opinion, worth every penny!! They really take this bathroom to the next level!” – Sita Montgomery
